We Nukkad travellers believe that one place where you can go gaga over Maa ke haath ka khaana in Mumbai is Samrat Restaurant in Churchgate. This place serves all kinds of food, but one thing that it is most famous for is its Gujarati Thali. It is a perfect combination of comfort food!!
Samrat Restaurnat was established in the year 1972. It is a 45 year old restaurant and boy do they know mehman nawazi!!The waiters serve you with such love and affection that you're bound to remember your home sweet home.
The waiters first serve buttermilk (better known as chaas) which is pure bliss. They then bring you your plate. We guarantee that the thali and its contents will pop a smile across your face. The Roti they serve will never be dry cause they make sure your roti is dripping with ghee and a dash of love from the chef's themselves!! Another mom quality they bring to the table is the generosity of the meal! Be rest assured that the waiters will keep filling and re-filling your plate until you stand up and say "No More!!"
